Milind Ranadive (Kolhapur, Maharashtra) is an Indian architect known for his contributions to healthcare, institutional, and cultural architecture, as well as his work in art and environmental filmmaking. His career spans over three decades.

Early Life and Education

• Born : 10th May 1972
• Graduation (B. Arch.) : SPSMBH’s College of Architecture, Kolhapur, Shivaji University(May 1995)

Career Timeline
1995–2000

• Joined architect Shirish Beri in Kolhapur (August 1995)
• Gained early exposure to sustainable and context-sensitive architecture

2001–2002

• Worked with Architect & Prof. Chi-Ti-Nan in Taipei, Taiwan
• Returned to work as an associate architect with Shirish Beri (2002) and continued..

2003–2025

• 2003: Co-founded Synthesis Design Workplace with Ar. Sikandar Nadaph, focusing on healthcare, education campuses, institutional, and public building projects
• Continued to work as an associate of Ar. Shirish Beri.
• 2010: Won Green Residence Award from IIA Kolhapur for his home ‘Paschima’
• 2016: Won first prize for short film Khopa in MPCB & Maharashtra environmental ministry’s competition. initiated Rekhatan, a sketchers group which grew to 200+ members, in the same year
• 2017: Won second prize for short film Paschimaa in the same competition
• 2019: Founded Sarai, a cultural and art activity platform in Kolhapur
• 2022: His design for Sparsh Neuro & Super specialty Hospital shortlisted for IIA National Awards. He held solo sketch exhibitions in Kolhapur and Mumbai
• 2025: Established Milind Ranadive and Associates after dissolving the Synthesis
• His works have been published in many national architectural magazines. He has conducted workshops and also delivered presentations in many architectural schools, institutes and seminars.
